Austria purchased the WS4 Panther remote controlled weapons system (RCWS).
According to an official from the Austrian Ministry of Defense, the system is now under integration work at the Logistics Center of the Austrian Army. The integration program is scheduled for completion in 2019.
Elbit made Panther is a third generation RCWS. It can be integrated into sea or land platforms. The platform offers precision accuracy and can be used with guns 7.62 millimeters and 12.7 millimeters machine guns or 40 millimeter grenade launcher.
