January 27, 2018The Last PKG-A Boat Commissioned
The Republic of Korea’s Ministry of National Defence announced on 24 January that the country’s navy has commissioned its 18th and final Gumdoksuri (PKG-A)-class fast patrol ship on 11 January. Jeon Byeongik, an 63-metre long vessel, is armed with Haesong SSM-700K missiles, a 40 mm cannon and a 76 mm gun. PKG-A Class was designed to replace the RoKN’s Chamsuri-class patrol vessels.
