The US Air Force made additional requests for the A-10 Warthog wing in budget demand for the 2019 fiscal year. It has not yet been determined how many additional wings will be accepted.

The US Air Force has announced that it will have to retire three of the nine A-10 Warthog fleets past year if it does not have the necessary budget. New wings will be assembled on planes whose wing structural life is over or planes will be retired. Congress approved the budget for 109 planes. However, the defense committee wants to make the additional budget of 103 million US dollars within the scope of the additional requirement.

The number of A-10 Warthog which has an iconic sound and view is already flying legend is 281 in the US Air Force inventory.
