Investment Urge to Shipbuilders

The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released a statement on 13 January urging the national shipbuilders to acquire foreign companies with the intend of improving science and technological capabilities of the nation’s shipbuilders. Aiming to increase the international market share, Chinese government also encourages private-sector investment in shipbuilding.
