The Defence Industry Executive Committee (SSİK) was convened today under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The meeting which was learned to have strated by 14:45 with the participation of  Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, Chief of General Staff General Hulusi Akar, Minister of National Defence Nurettin Canikli, Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu and Undersecretary for Defense Industries Dr. Ismail Demir.

Presidency declared that 55 projects were discussed. Total value of projects is 9.4 billion USD. No further information was shared.
