Altay To Be Modified for Tank Recovery

Turkish Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM) has made a new addition to its work on different land systems to be produced from the Altay tank. The Undersecretariat, who recently issued a Request for Information (RFI) for a Mine Clearance Vehicle on Altay's chassis, took the second step today towards Altay's modifications. Under the 'Tank Recovery Project', the turret system will be removed from Altay tank; instead, a variety of recovery equipment, including a crane, will be added to the chassis.
