The US conducted an unsuccessful missile defence test on Wednesday, A test shoot of the SM-3 Block IIA fired from an Aegis Ashore test site in Hawaii failed, CNN has reported. A missile launched from land failed to intercept an incoming target launched from an aircraft over Hawaii. The missile is designed to intercept ballistic missiles. The Missile Defence Agency and U.S. Navy the Aegis Ashore Missile Defence Test Complex (AAMDTC) had conducted the test. Missile was launched from the Pacific Missile Range Facility, Kauai, Hawaii.
