The US Department of Defence approved international sales of Raytheon’s Standard Missile-6 (SM-6). The SM-6 program director Mike Campisi stated that international customers show great interest in SM-6’s extended-range protection. The SM-6 missile delivers a proven over-the-horizon defensive and offensive capability in anti-air and anti-surface warfare. First deployed in 2013, Raytheon has delivered more than 300 missiles to date.
