India announced that it had tested a new ramjet engine. A new solid fuel ducted ramjet engine has been tested in the recent trial activity.

Engine is developing by DRDO for systems to be produced in the future. The system has nozzlless design, was moved to the high altitude with a separate rocket engine for the flight simulation and the engine was started at this altitude. The flight speed of the engine, which is clearly described as exceeding the speed of sound, was tracked by radar. It was announced that the system provided all the predetermined parameters.
