An-178, which is in the agenda of Turkey's transport aircraft procurement tender also on the agenda and has a trump card with significant amount of technology transfer is in the production line.

In a news article published in Ukraine, it was stated that Antonov took the first An-178 ordered by Peru on the production line. The first platform has the serial number 006. The production activities of the platform, where the cargo cabin was first built, will continue with the assembly of the center fuselage and nose parts.

Antonov won the Peruvian tender, which was finalized in 2019, with a bid of 65 million USD. The platform will be used by the Peruvian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
