Poseidon fleet on the world continues to expand. Boeing announced that it has signed a supply agreement for 19 additional P-8 Poseidons.
A total of US $ 2.4 billion of P-8 Poseidon will be procured under the agreement. Ten of the platforms were ordered for the United States, five for Norway and four for the United Kingdom. The first FMS aircraft in the agreement will be delivered to the UK in 2019. Norway will receive its first platform in 2021. In this direction, the United Kingdom ordered a total of nine aircraft.
