NATO aircraft has intercepted a Russian Su-24. Two Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft from the Royal Air Force deployed in Romania have intercepted Su-24 (NATO Code: Fencer), which is closing dangerously at the NATO Air in the Western Black Sea. The Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft from the Royal Air Force are stationed at 135th Expeditionary Air Wing at Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base near Constanta, Romania. The mission of the RAF aircraft in Romania is to assist the Romanian MiG-21 LanceR and F-16 aircraft, which protect NATO's airspace in the Black Sea.
