Hyper competition rising. During the Cold War period, the West studied on hypersonic technologies for many years but could not find their hopes. After success works of Russia and China in this area US-based companies moved forward in this area. Hypersonic ammunition, which is very difficult to prevent because of the it's high speed has attracted attention from the US Army. Pentagon has given the firm the necessary signal.

Northrop Grumman, who assessed the intense market for vehicles and ammunition that would make a hypersonic flight over the next five to 10 years, bought an aviation and technology company Orbital ATK with an investment of US $ 9.2 billion. Raytheon has signed an agreement with DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) to continue the process of developing hypersonic ammunition, while the Ministry of Defence has not yet reached an official tilt or procurement step. Japan and some European countries do not yet intend to use  hypersonic systems in military yet.
