Our series of interviews introducing defence clubs established by students in universities, hosts this month SAYTEK (Defence and High Technologies Club) at Çukurova University. Listed among the most fertile territories of Turkey, Çukurova seeks to add value to the defence industry by young engineer candidates.  

C4Defence: When was SAYTEK established and what is its scope of activities?
SAYTEK: Çukurova University Defence and High Technologies Club (Savunma ve Yüksek Teknolojiler Kulübü/ SAYTEK) was established during the 2016-2017 Academic Year by a group of students following closely defence industry and technology. Incorporating many undergraduate and graduate students from various faculties and institutes, SAYTEK pursues activities in defence industry and high technology with around 260 members.
