STM Set Goals: Achieving New Technologies

Savunma Teknolojileri Mühendislik ve Ticaret A.Ş. (STM) General Manager Murat İkinci came together with national and sectoral press representatives for the first time at the STM Vision 2023 Press Meeting organised on December 5.

During the speech he made on that occasion, İkinci specified the main goal of STM as achieving new technologies for Turkey. Also attending the meeting was the Head of Business Development, Onur Ateş. Following Ateş’s presentation on STM’s activities, İkinci took the floor to share STM’s plans by 2023 and what he sought to accomplish. Some of his key remarks are as follows:

STM prepares for a fierce competition against global players on the basis of new technologies to be developed. Intent to break the hegemony of global competitors in the areas of cyber security, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence and naval systems, STM aspires to be ranked among the top 50 players in the Defense News Top 100 List. STM entered the list as the 97th company thanks to revenues worth 1,9bn TL scored in 2017.
