Russia unveiled the “future tank” project, which will replace Armata tanks after 2040, at the 2020 International Military and Technical Forum. In the future, the long-term tank project, which will be shaped according to the needs of the security forces, was shared as two modules.

The first module is planned to be developed in capsules equipped with highly sheltered armour, with three crew members on duty. Among the shared information that the tank will be equipped with an electro-thermochemical cannon.

The tank will also carry out the mine search mission while reconnaissance with the second module. In addition, the drones to be integrated into the tank are intended to perform missions together with the platform.

The two modules will be connected.
