One of the two KC-390 prototypes, which was grounded for several months due to unexpected altitude loss during a stall test flight conducted last October, returned to flight on 2 March, Embraer confirms.
The company’s first production aircraft is expected to enter service with the Brazilian Air Force later this year. The aircraft was designed for cargo and troop transportation, aerial refuelling and search and rescue missions.
