Indigenous Automatic Landing System Accepted on ANKA UAV

Turkish defence company Meteksan Defence announced today on its official Twitter account that the acceptance tests of OKIS Automatic Take-off and Landing System on ANKA UAV have been successfully completed.

Based on radar technologies, the system sends 3D info about the UAVs to the Ground Control Station via its air unit consisting of transponder and antenna, providing UAV with the capability of automatic take-off and landing, completely independent from the user.
