Pratt & Whitney Wins $240 Million F-35 Engine Contract

Pratt & Whitney has been awarded a $240 million contract for long-lead materials, parts, and components for 137 low rate initial Production Lot 12 F135 propulsion systems. 

The contract includes 46 F135-PW-100s for the Air Force, 20 F135-PW-600s for the Marine Corps, four F135-PW-100s for the Navy, 63 F135-PW-100s and four F135-PW-600s for non-U.S. DoD participants and FMS customers. 

The work under the contract is scheduled to be completed in January 2021.
