Canada has announced modernization of CH-146 Griffon helicopters. With modernization, life of the platforms will be extended and will remain in the inventory until 2031.

Total of USD 68 million agreement signed with Bell Helicopter Textron Canada for a modernization of 85 platforms. Within the scope of the program, the structural components of the platforms and avionics will be improved.Canada uses the Bell 412EP helicopters under the name CH-146 Griffon. The modernization agreement on life extensions of the platforms will be carried out within the logistic support program, which was signed in 2011 and is expected to reach US $ 603 million in total cost.
