The competition in unmanned systems and autonomous technologies within the European defence market has entered a new phase with the cooperation agreement signed between EMR Group and Portuguese technology company Beyond Vision at the ILA Berlin 2026 fair. Additionally, under the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the two companies are pursuing an operational merger to develop joint engineering and supply chain solutions for critical infrastructure projects across Europe, with a priority focus on Germany.
The partnership, which was officially established through discussions held at ILA Berlin 2026, was signed by Emrullah Görsoy, Business Development Manager, and Pedro Meireles Figueiredo, Sales Director. Aiming to strengthen the parties’ positions in the European defense and aerospace sectors, the agreement focuses specifically on the use of unmanned systems in critical infrastructure applications and the integrated supply chain solutions required for these processes
The main application areas of the cooperation include operationalising Beyond Vision’s aircraft technologies by combining them with EMR Group’s engineering infrastructure. In this process, the parties aim to deliver customised solutions for the increasing protection needs in the European market, while also accelerating the realisation of joint projects by leveraging EMR Group’s logistics and production network in the aerospace and defence sector.
Long-Term Partnership Goal

EMR Group, which has increased its capacity with new production investments in Turkey, defines this partnership as a move to deepen its presence in the international market. On the other hand, Beyond Vision aims to strengthen its position as a technology partner responding to Europe’s defence industry needs with its autonomous solutions.
Company representatives stated that the signed Memorandum of Understanding goes beyond a commercial partnership and represents a long-term effort to meet the technical requirements of the defence and aerospace sector. They also indicated that both parties will intensify their work in the coming period to translate concrete project outputs into the field.
