China has undergone a series of tests on the Caihong-4 (CH-4) unmanned aerial vehicle which developed with its own capabilities. The platform carried out multi-type ammunition live fire tests in the six-day-long trials conducted in the northwestern part of China.
CH-4 is developed from CH-3. CH-4 has the ability to fulfill many tasks. For the first multi-type ammunition tests, 50 kilograms of cluster ammunition, 50 kilograms of satellite guided bombs, 100 kilograms of laser guided bombs and 50 kilograms of precision guided ammunition were tested. According to the statement made from authorities, the test results provided the desired design standards of the systems.
The CH-4 can carry different kinds of ammunition at the same time.
