Three Platforms Delivered to the Navy

Three new platforms were delivered to the Navy with the ceremony held today. New Generation Diver’s Training and Rescue Boats were delivered at the ceremony held at the DESAN shipyard. 35 meters long, 8 meters wide at sea level, the platform with a displacement of 216 tons has a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots. Diver’s Training and Rescue Boats will support rescue diving and emergency response operations in case of possible accidents.

 

Multirole Tactical Platforms are produced in Yonca -Onuk Shipyard will serve in military bases affiliated to the Naval Forces Command. The boats will provide security and accompany the platforms that enter military bases. The boats developed with domestic and national designs have a length of 12.67 m and a width of 3.45 m at water level. The platform, which has a displacement of 11 tons, can reach a maximum speed of 47 knots. The platform carries ASELSAN 12.7 mm STAMP machine gun.

 

The third platforms delivered were Fast Patrol Attack Craft boats designed with local resources. The boats prepared for SAT operations in Turkish territorial waters and open sea were produced for the rapid transfer of the team to the operation area and to provide fire support to the SAT in operation. The boat, which has an ASELSAN production 25 mm STOP system, reaches a maximum speed of 51 knots. The boats with a length of 26.30 meters and a width of 5.58 meters at the water level have a displacement of 55 tons.
