TDU Defence Systems Inc. produced two Reconnaissance and Surveillance Balloons for a foreign country's armed forces. The order is expected to continue. The balloon, which has a diameter of six meters and a payload capacity of 50 kg, operates at an altitude of 500 meters. With the target identification and recognition system it carries, it can make real-time surveillance and recording in day and night conditions. It was learned that the balloon is suitable for early warning duties in combating forest fires as well as border security duties.
