India has added a new one to missile trials. The India has announced the test launch of a ship-based surface-to-air missile system.

In the simulated test against an air target approaching from low altitude, the missile destroyed its target with a direct hit. India reported that all of the predetermined parameters were succesful within the scope of trials carried out on the vessel INS Chennai (D 65). The work of the system, which was developed at the request of the Indian Navy, is being carried out with IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries) and DRDO.
