Bahreyn's new attack helicopter will take the second step. In this context, the United States has inked a procurement agreement with Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. which costs USD 240,266 million.

Helicopters to be procured under the FMS and Bahrain had ordered 16 units. It is planned to deliver the platforms until 2022 where the production process will begin.

The AH-1Z Viper is a four-blade Cobra developed in the attack helicopter phase of the H-1 Program, made its first flight in 2000. The platform, equipped with more advanced subsystems and improved flight performance compared to its predecessors, has a maximum take-off weight of 8390 kilograms. Helicopter can be equipped with different air-to-air and air-to-ground ammunition and has endurance for 3 hours 30 minutes. Aircraft can reach a maximum range of 685 kilometres.
