Ku-Band Air Satellite Communication System tests developed by ASELSAN to meet the beyond line-of-sight requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces for aircraft were completed with laboratory and flight tests.
The Ku-Band communication system can be integrated into manned and unmanned aerial vehicles thanks to its modular and compact design developed following military environmental conditions and electromagnetic interference and compatibility conditions.
In this context, two different system alternatives were developed for different platforms.
Besides, work is underway on smaller diameter antenna solutions for tactical UAV and narrow body aircraft.
