ROKETSAN General Manager Murat İkinci said, Indonesia and Tunisia are interested in guided munitions for drones.
“Countries like Indonesia and Tunisia, which are in search of unmanned aerial vehicles, have a high demand for the procurement of mini smart munitions MAM-L and MAM-C, the main weapon systems mounted on the Turkish UAVs,” İkinci said.
At the beginning of March, Tunisia allegedly ordered an ANKA-S developed by the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) under the Medium Altitude Long Endurance drone program.
The ANKA-S's are equipped with the MAM-C and MAM-L, Roketsan's mini-smart munitions family.
Smart Micro Munitions has been developed for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), light attack aircrafts and air-around missions for low payload capacity air platforms.
