TÜBİTAK Defence Industry Research and Development Institute (SAGE) announced from social media accounts that HGK-84, which uses the laser seeker head for better accuracy, was accepted on May 12, 2020. The missile is now in the inventory after completing the batch acceptance test. SAGE also released a video about this acceptance. SAGE Institute Director Gürcan Okumuş has been a live broadcast guest on C4Defence's Instagram account on 15 May and announced that the acceptance shot was successful.
