Anatoly Serdyukov, Industry Director of Rostec aviation firm, said that Russia has presented the fifth generation Su-57 jet fighter for export and that foreign demand will likely increase after the order of the Russian Armed Forces is completed.

“Until we have enough planes shipped in our army, it is unlikely that there will be substantial demand. […] Therefore, our number one goal is to send the aircraft to the Russian Armed Forces. Meanwhile, we present this aircraft to foreigners. We are running our advertising campaign,” he said. Serdyukov did not specify exactly which countries could be potential buyers.

At a meeting in May 2019, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that 76 Su-57 warplanes will be supplied by the Armed Forces by 2028.

The Su-57 is a multipurpose combat aircraft. The plane can cruise at supersonic speed. It has internal weapon compartments, a coating that absorbs the radar signal.
