Technology demonstration of TR713-7GHz radio link communication was performed in the End-to-End Domestic and National 5G Communication Network Project carried out under the coordination of HAVELSAN.

The screening attended by the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank was held in Ostim Teknokent. 12 km on trial. 4 4K videos were successfully transmitted simultaneously with the 7GHz radio link in the distance.

Making a brief statement, Minister Varank stated that they have taken measures to encourage domestic and national production regarding the 5G network and said, “We have taken an important step here. We did a successful test. We saw that 4K videos come from 12 km successfully, ”he said.

HAVELSAN and the subcontractors involved in the project used over 60 per cent local industry. With this project, it is aimed to significantly prevent foreign dependency in 5G communication. It is aimed to start network trials soon, to start field tests with mobile operators at the beginning of 2021, and to start mass production after system verification.

The new generation communication data transfer capacity will increase significantly. This will provide an advantage in operations carried out by remote command.
