Acting as a bridge for the development of critical technologies and supply of requirements of military and police forces as users, the SSB must set a goal to develop at the maximum level national, indigenous and advanced technologies.
Organised for the first time in December, the Turkish Defence Industry Summit was a pioneering event to bring together our statesmen, valuable industrialists, thinkers and scientists to discuss a roadmap for strategy. During the Summit, the President of Defense Industries Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir spoke about change, maintaining that the steps already taken were the harbinger of a much deeper restructuring in a new era. As he underscored, we had to make the best use of this opportunity to specify and address questions and requirements.
