France and Germany have announced the beginning of the industrial phase of the new generation fighter project.

A ceremony was held in Safran's Gennevilliers Facilities with the participation of the French Armed Forces Minister Florence Parly and the German Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen. In this ceremony, the industrial phase of the Système de Combat Aérien Futur (New Generation Air Combat System / SCAF) Project, which was to be carried out jointly by France and Germany, has begun. Fefence ministers of the two countries, Project will be carried with in cooperation by Safran and MTU companies and Dassault and Airbus.

In the scope of the project, a new turbine blades development agreement signed with Safran was also announced. The company will develop new turbine blades under the Turenne-2 Project with a contract of € 115 million.
