MQ-9 Contract to General Atomics

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems has been awarded a $295,5 million contract for the production of the MQ-9 Reaper aircraft in the fiscal 2017 production configuration. The work is expected to be completed by 29 July 2021. 

The number of UAVs to be produced was not disclosed in the US Department of Defense announcement made on 29 March.
