Mobix Labs announced that it has significantly expanded its supply of critical components for the F-22 Raptor fighter jet program, the United States’ air superiority platform. The company also stated that, with new orders, it has increased its business volume by approximately five times.
Mobix Labs reported that it has received new and expanded orders from two subcontractors involved in the F-22 program. This development includes the acquisition of a new customer within the aircraft’s supply chain. In addition, it includes the expansion of its business volume with an existing partner. The company noted that production of the components has already begun. Furthermore, shipments are planned to commence in 2026.
Electromagnetic Protection and Aerospace Solutions
The company supplies specialized filtered connector components. These are designed to protect the F-22 Raptor’s sensitive onboard electronic systems against electromagnetic interference (EMI). These components ensure stable system performance. Moreover, they support the uninterrupted operation of the aircraft’s electronic infrastructure, particularly in combat environments where the risk of system failure is high.
The capacity increase in the F-22 program is considered part of the company’s broader strategy. That strategy focuses on defense and aerospace markets. In addition to supplying components for Gulfstream platforms as part of its current production activities, Mobix Labs is also involved in next-generation anti-drone system projects. Furthermore, the company participates in smart munitions initiatives. CEO Phil Sansone stated that demand for high-reliability components is accelerating, especially as system complexity continues to increase.
