MBDA announced a significant increase in its production capacity and investment budget during its annual press conference. At this conference, it presented its 2025 financial results and future targets. The company declared that it has entered a strategic growth phase to meet rising global demand. Furthermore, it stated that it will expand its investments and capabilities in missile production.
Rapid Increase in Production Capacity
According to the data shared by the company, missile production doubled between 2023 and the end of 2025. Moreover, MBDA plans to further increase its current production rate by 40% in 2026. CEO Eric Béranger noted that this capacity expansion strengthens Europe’s defense readiness. He stated it aims to provide advanced capabilities to the armed forces.
€5 Billion Investment and Employment Plan
MBDA has doubled its investment plan for the 2026–2030 period, reaching €5 billion across Europe. These investments will be used for production facilities, advanced weapon systems, and innovation-focused projects. In line with its growth strategy, the company aims to hire 2,800 new employees in 2026.

The company’s 2025 financial results showed growth driven by increased deliveries and the completion of large-scale contracts:
- Annual Revenue: €5.8 billion
- New Orders: €13.2 billion
- Order Backlog: €44.4 billion
