The delivery of the armoured combat vehicle Hızır, which is developed by The Katmerciler company, to Africa began.

Last year, the first export agreement was signed with an unnamed African country. The first party vehicle was on its way as part of the $20.7 million deal.

The company predicts export revenue of approximately $45 million at the end of the year.

The Turkish Armed Forces are actively using Ateş as a base vehicle for the 4×4 Hızır platform in border security. 

The platform has different configurations such as combat, command and control, weapons carrier, ambulance, border security and reconnaissance.
