President of Defence Industries Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir has been a live broadcast guest on NTV. Answering the questions on the Turkish defence sector, Professor. Dr. Demir made important statements about TCG Anadolu and UAVs.

UAV use for the TCG Anadolu (L 400), which was built within the scope of the amphibious platform requirements of the Turkish Navy, came back to the agenda. President of Defence Industries Prof. Dr. Demir stated that the use of UAVs in various classes is on the agenda as an alternative to F-35B Lightning II aircraft on TCG Anadolu. According to the announement, jet propulsion UAVs are among the platforms on which studies are carried out. Professor Dr. Demir also stated that the unmanned aerial vehicles currently in use may become available ship-based usage following the necessary modifications.

In this way, the Turkish Navy will also have access to enhanced area control capability in the open sea through the use of TCG Anatolia and UAV.
