US based company Conti Federal Services won an interesting tender. Following the offers collected on the internet, the most suitable bidder will build a reinforced rinforced aircraft shelter for the Israeli Air Force in Tel Aviv, Israel. The amount of the agreement is disclosed as 69.4 million US Dollars. The work to be done under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) is scheduled to be completed by September 2020.
A reinforced aircraft shelter is a some kind of hangar is used to protect aircrafts from enemy attack and to minimize losses. These structures, constructed from a combination of steel and reinforced concrete, are designed to survive under heavy bombardment conditions.
