Gürcan Okumuş, who is the TÜBİTAK SAGE (Savunma Sanayii Araştırma ve Geliştirme Enstitüsü / Defence Industries Research and Development Instute) Institute Director, was a guest on live stream at C4Defence's Instagram account. Okumuş made important statements about indigenous cold-launch system.
Cold launch systems are widely used to ensure that missiles safely leave the launchers and do not harm the user or the launcher. Okumuş, who made statements about the domestic cold launcher activities underway at SAGE, announced that test launches were carried out. It was stated that the meetings with the different forces and users and studies are continuing.
