Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) is exhibiting the mock-up of the Hürjet advanced jet traininer at the Farnborough Air Show for the first time.
The platform, which is being developed to meet the requirements of the fifth generation jet trainer, will be equipped with advanced task computers. A name has not yet been announced for the Hürjet's propulsion system, the aircraft is about 13.4 meters long and have an 11-foot wingspan. It is planned to be able to reach up to 45 thousand feet (~ 13,700 meters) service altitude, can carry three thousand kilograms of payload, and reach maximum 1.2 Mach speeds.
