F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft; have been serving successfully in the inventory of many countries for years thanks to their performance and the flexibility to offer the user a flexible solution.

US Department of Defence (DoD / Department of Defense); announces the massive F-16 Fighting Falcon deal signed with Lockheed Martin. The total cost of the contract, which is stated to be valid for 10 years, was announced as 62 billion USD. According to media reports, the order also includes platforms to be manufactured for Morocco and Taiwan.

On February 27, 2019, the US signed an agreement with Taiwan for the acquisition of F-16V Block 70/72. Taipei will receive 66 F-16Vs within the scope of the process, which is estimated to cost approximately 13 billion USD. These platforms are planned to replace the aging F-5E and Mirage 2000s.

F-16Vs features advanced AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) radar, new avionic architecture and structural improvements that increase lifespan by 50%. In addition, the platforms have an advanced software infrastructure not found in previous F-16 models.
