German company Heckler & Koch visited Greece to present the rifles it proposes for the new rifle on September 16th. It presented the HK416 5.56 × 45, the HK417 7.62 × 51 and the HK433 5.56 × 45. The HK416 was developed by H&K on request and in collaboration with Delta Force, with the aim of replacing the M4. HK416F replaced the French rifle FAMAS. The German army recently selected the Haenel Mk556 as its new infantry rifle, but its special units, the KSK / KSM and German police units, have selected and are using the HK416 / 417.
