Nail Kurt, FNSS General Manager and CEO, met with the leading names of the defence media in a live stream. Kurt made statements about the latest status of the Kaplan MT (Harimau) medium tank and its procurement to third countries.

Kurt mentioned that the requirements and demands changed in the medium weight class tank, which was in trend in the early 1990s but is now on the agenda, and that Indonesia has determined a requirement for a 30-ton class 105-mm turret; he stated that FNSS also put the process on the grounds of infrastructure works and international relations. Kurt explained that in the process launched as the Turkish-Indonesia Project, Indonesian personnel were trained and the process was progressing rapidly, thanks to the partner country's choice of CMI production 105 mm turret and main gun.

Adding that Kaplan MT offers firepower close to the main battle tanks at a cost of a third and can also be equipped with 120 mm main gun, Nail Kurt stated that the marketing process to a third Southeast Asian country continues within the framework of international relations.

Nail Kurt added that a heavily armoured 30-ton class tracked combat vehicle and a wheeled vehicle with unmanned turret with 30 mm main gun could come to the agenda in the following period.
