Leonardo’s Falco family of Remotely-Piloted Air Vehicles (RPAV) have together logged more than 15,000 hours of operational flight with its five international customers, the company announced on 25 February.

Designed to carry out intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions, Falco UAV has made its maiden flight in 2003. It has an endurance up to 14 hours with a payload capacity of 70 kilograms. Falco EVO, an advanced member of the Falco family, offers customers more than 20 hours of flight time while carrying a payload of up to 100 kg.
