March 1, 2018New Engine for Rustom 2 UAV
India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has successfully carried out a test flight of indigenous Rustom 2 UAV in user configuration equipped with a higher power engine. Indian Ministry of Defence announced that the test flight was conducted on 25 February and all parameters were normal.
Rustom 2's maiden flight was carried out in November 2016. Medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) UAV has a range of 250 kilometres and an endurance of up to 20 hours.
