The elements of the Turkish Armed Forces serving in Libya trained explosive search and disposal teams of the Libyan Army. TAF elements are clearing mines (Explosive Ordnance Disposal / EOD) and hand-made explosives (improvised explosive device / IED) trapped by the forces of Hafter in civilian settlements. Libyan Army elements will now participate in these activities of Turkish teams.

In the training, domestic and national bomb destruction robots produced by Elektroland Defence production in the Turkish Armed Forces inventory were also used. Thanks to these robots, EOD and IED are safely destroyed remotely.
