April 5, 2018DDG 116 Completes Builder’s Trials
The US Navy's Arleigh Burke-class USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116) destroyer successfully completed builder's trials on 31 March.
The DDG 51 class vessels feature an Aegis Baseline 9 Integrated Air and Missile Defence system which will enable DDG 116 to link radars with other ships and aircraft to provide a composite picture of the battlespace. USS Thomas Hudner will begin USN acceptance trials later this spring.
