China has introduced its new Z-8L transport helicopter. The new helicopter produced by Chang-Aircraft Industries Corporation transported the 8×8 Bobcat vehicle from one place to another for testing purposes.

Equipped with a new type of photoelectric device and defence systems, the Z-8L has a higher ability to hold than existing helicopters in the Chinese inventory.

 Equipped with three WS-6 turboshaft engines, the helicopter is in its 15-ton class. The Z-8L is expected to be used for aerial assault, search and rescue, as well as personnel and material transfers.
