China invests significantly to support its fleet in large areas and is developing a new unmanned surface vessel (USV).
USV, called JARI USV, is 15 meters long and weighs 20 tons. The platform developed for anti-submarine warfare, surface and anti-air warfare will have equipment such as electro-optical sensors, phased-array radar, dipping sonar, a small vertical launch system with eight cells, a torpedo launcher and a stabilized weapon station. The system is planned to reach a maximum speed of 42 knots is planned to be effective at a range of 500 nautical miles and to be managed from a coastal station or a mother vessel.
